Ashley Pittman
I am a versatile lighting designer who loves to create immersive experiences in a variety of environments, including theatre, events, theme parks, and permanent installations. Inside a theatre or out, strong storytelling is vital to creating outstanding entertainment and my dual degree in Theatre and Media Arts has prepared me to pursue that goal in many mediums.
I gravitate towards color and texture in my designs. I love the interplay between light and shadow, the ability it has to shape, define, and transform. My strong background in visual art means I have a good eye for composition and my experience as a technician means I have the technical skills and understanding to turn ideas into reality. Altogether, I have the skills to create complex designs that are both beautiful and rooted in story.
